  1. How will the buyer communicate with the seller?
    Buyers and sellers can communicate directly through GlobalSolar’s secure messaging feature. To ensure no messages are missed, our system sends email notifications and reminders to both parties.

 

  1. When is the buyer expected to make payment?
    Once a buyer confirms their sales order online, GlobalSolar’s system automatically provides payment instructions based on the seller’s setup.

 

  1. Where does the buyer send payment? Will the seller receive full payment before shipping the product?
  • For Standard Sellers, the buyer sends payment to GlobalSolar. The seller will receive full payment from GlobalSolar within 7 days after the buyer receives the product.
  • For Trusted Sellers, the buyer pays the seller directly using the instructions submitted during the seller application process.

 

  1. How is the shipping cost calculated?
    Shipping costs can be provided by either the seller or the GlobalSolar shipping team, depending on the arrangement and order requirements.

 

  1. Will the GlobalSolar team assist with calculating shipping and arranging delivery?
    Yes! The GlobalSolar team actively monitors shipping inquiries and aims to provide accurate shipping estimates for every order. We also coordinate pickup and delivery logistics and monitor the shipping status to ensure smooth fulfillment.

 

  1. When will the seller receive the buyer’s contact information?
    Once an order is confirmed, GlobalSolar releases the buyer’s contact details and all relevant payment information to both parties for a seamless transaction experience.

 

  1. How much does GlobalSolar charge the seller?
    In 2025, GlobalSolar is 100% free for sellers—no commissions, no fees. Fee structures for 2026 and beyond will be announced at a later date.

 

  1. Does GlobalSolar charge buyers?
    No. Buyers pay only for the products they purchase. There are no additional fees from GlobalSolar.

 

  1. Who is responsible for maintaining product listings on GlobalSolar.Store?
    Sellers are fully responsible for managing and updating their own product listings. Keeping your listings fresh and accurate ensures better visibility and buyer engagement.

 

  1. How often should sellers update their listings?
    We recommend updating your listings weekly. GlobalSolar makes this easy with a bulk upload tool using an Excel-based listing template.

 

  1. How does GlobalSolar handle marketing? How are vendor listings promoted?
    We leverage a wide range of marketing channels to promote our platform and your products, including trade shows, industry conferences, webinars, social media, digital ads, and co-branded campaigns with sellers.

 

  1. If multiple sellers list the same product, how does GlobalSolar rank them?
    Our listing algorithm considers various factors including update frequency, transaction volume, price competitiveness, customer reviews, and overall seller performance to determine listing rank and visibility.
